Two players that will see the college stage are Cam Feldt and Colton Lyon. Colton Lyon, the Boyd Linebacker and Tight End, impressed a lot of folks this season. The kid has good size and speed and many in the recruiting circles project him to play linebacker in college. Boyd, a primarily running team, uses him as a primarily blocking tight end and he did a great job in that capacity this season.

Feldt fell in love with Arkansas and committed to the school this past summer. Feldt had a great season. Blake Feldt is the coach of Pilot Point, and his son was like an extra coach on the field. He helped lead Pilot Point to the state semifinals this season. He blocked for Jarman Johnson, a D1 caliber player that might see time in college as a defensive back.

Plenty of talented prospects showed up in Coppell for TheOldCoach combine on Saturday. While several of the elite players received a trophy, there were many more who looked impressive as well.

One of the talented defensive ends in attendance was Conner Reynolds. The 5-foot-11, 223-pound defensive star is yet another playmaker out of Southlake Carroll. Reynolds showed off his strength on the bench press lifting 185 pounds 25 times.

The only player to top that was Boyd linebacker Colton Lyon. The 6-foot-2, 202-pound Lyon was one of the physically more impressive players there. He ran a 4.8 in the 40 and lifted 185 pounds 27 times. He was also pretty satisfied with his performance in the one-on-one drills as well.

"I felt pretty good about how I did in the one-on-ones. I was grabbing on to them a little bit so I need to work on that," Lyon said. The talented defender will be one to watch next season.

Talent was abundant on Saturday. However, only time will tell what the future holds for these young stars.
