The PJP offensive line – which includes tackles Jake Kopchuk and Ryan Ignatovig, guards Josh Bildstein and Chris DiLeva and center Eric Giacomucci – has rounded into form after a shaky start. All but Ignatovig and Giacomucci are underclassmen."
“We’ve been beating up our offensive linemen for eight weeks now,” said Santillo. “Three of the five are underclassmen. They’ve gotten tougher, and they’re doing a great job with pass protection.”

• Preseason – Monsignor Pace 21, Barrington Christian 14: After taking a 21-0 halftime lead, Monsignor Pace wound up getting a lot more than it ever bargained for and wound up having to hang on for a victory in a Kickoff Classic at Pace High School.
