An undersized DL athlete that makes outstanding use of his quickness to penetrate gaps and disrupt the offense. Norris worms his way into the backfield using solid hand and foot action to defeat blocks. Norris also pursues the ball carrier with great determination. Chad Burnside Recognized By The Grand Rapids Press As A Key Player In Their Football Preview Magazine

Chad was one of the players selected as being key to the Byron Center Bulldogs upcoming 2011 season.  Chad will start both ways on the line, during his senior year.  Videos can be seen on  you tube:  Chad Burnside Byron Center Football.  He has received interest from over two dozen colleges, for both football, and track.  Chad will graduate in June, 2012.

Mike Cottle

Mike attended the CCSU football camp this past weekend and started off running a 4,50 40. At the end of camp which was full contact he ran for 4 touchdowns and was told that he was going to get a call Sept. 1st. Division 1AA. All of Mike's hard work and time in the weight room are now paying off. Congrats Mike!!

Camp Season is Now!!

Evaluation period went Great!! 10 D1 schools came out to visit me - Penn State, UVA, VT, W&M, Richmond, VMI, Liberty, Bucknell, Delaware, JMU, and more..The phone calls were awsome - will not forget the time I had speaking with so many coaches..TE is a tuff call when recruiting, but things are looking pretty good, I'll continue to work hard with studies/conditioning and coaching to become The top TE in the state! This made for another great recruiting day, as everyone knows, Virginia Tech has an awesome football program and has a great engineering school.. Zach Agnew was u100 Southwest WR MVP, and Top Prospect Camp Top TE to go along with a 4.6 40 and 9ft plus broad Zach passes the athletic, skills and eye test. Zach is 6-5 and 215 pounds so he belongs somewhere D-1a.

NUC I guess...now means MVP! Congrats to Ronald Powell.

Today was an interesting day....as we plan to run our own All American Game. We got to watch many of our National Underclassmen Combine Alum perform to perfection. First TD Ronald Powell-DL/TE--scores a TD, then i saw Josh Shirley pick up a blocked FG and Take it to the House...For a TD. THE FIRST TWO TDS WERE NUC ALUMS. Then at the end of the game, Johnny on the spot was all world OL Dom Espinosa recovering a fumble for a TD.

Brandon Robinson #53...Strong Defensive Effort....

Lee-Davis got a strong defensive effort from Brandon Robinson as the Confederates defeated Henrico, 24-8. Robinson got six tackles, a fumble recovery and an interception for the Confederates as they improved to 4-4 overall and 2-3 in the Capital District.

2 a days not soon enough

Been pumping the iron in the weight room and running to keep up my cardio. It seems that it is taking forever for football to start. I am proud to say I uped my bench to 275 today from 250. getting my weight up. trying to get to 205. 197 now.... cant wait to hit someone.......Go Dalers
